UNDERLAY blankets are a secondary blanket that is installed below the primary blanket. Some presses utilize this 2-ply blanket system to give the operator more control over the blanket thickness which is the means of adjustment for printing pressure.

• Rubber Face; Gives more precise gauge to the top blanket. Can be used to print with in an emergency.
• Fabric Carcass; Longer life underblanket. Greater resilience than manila or packing paper. Assists with the smash resistance of the top blanket.
• Underlay blankets are available in 2 thicknesses; 0.50mm and 1.00mm
